UPDATED - SATURDAY 24 NOVEMBER 2008 - Yes, people will never learn… This post was posted yesterday morning when the second Wembley date went on sale. It was mentioned that with over 200 listings on Ebay for Foo Fighters tickets, standing tickets for the Saturday gig were going over £300. £300 !!!! This morning, with over 1200 listings (that must be at least 5 000 ticket as many ebay touts seem to have many tickets fo sale), logically the winning auction’s bids have already dropped half of yesterday’s price (it means that many people yesterday have thrown a lot of money away!). I cannot say it enough: DO NOT RUSH ON EBAY as soon as the concert shows SOLD OUT. Firstly sold out it is NOT, there are always news tickets added in a later date, be patient (please see Buyer’s Guide). But if you are going to buy on Ebay anyway, then why rush, you must know by now that more and more tickets are going to be listed there, and for big standing & seating concerts like that, as half of the tickets ending anyway on Ebay, there are always plenty of tickets for everyone, so the price will drop as it ALWAYS DOES (See Ebay Touts). Now not only the Saturday date’s ticket prices will go down (well it already does - do not rush to the first pair, bid up to the face value, if it goes over, bid on the next one - PLENTY THERE!!), but tickets for friday will undoubtly be selling soon for less than face value. There were 90 000 (disapointed) people at Wembley Stadium for the England’s football game on Wednesday. If you add quite a few more thousands standing tickets, time 2 as there are 2 dates, this makes plenty of tickets for everyone. See our Buyer’s Guide and our page Ebay Touts where this exact same situation is precisely explained and BUY YOUR TICKETS AT FACE VALUE !!! (END OF UPDATES).
People do not rush on Ebay bidding like crazy (a standing pair of tickets went just now for over £300 - Crazy !!!), not only prices will go down soon, but most of all Foo Fighters has added a second date at Wembley Stadium on Friday 5 June 2008. Tickets are on sale right now at Ticketmaster, Seetickets, Aloud, Stargreen and Lastminute.com Music Tickets .
And don’t forget, avoid the touts, buy your concert tickets at face value !
