Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have announced their first series of tour dates for 2008. So far the only european date will take place at the RDS in Dublin, Eire, on Thurday 22 may 2008.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday 28 November at 09:00. Bruce Springsteen tickets .

On tour, Springsteen is joined by E Street Band keyboardist Roy Bittan, saxman/percussionist Clarence Clemons, keyboardist Danny Federici, guitarist Nils Lofgren, vocalist/guitarist Patti Scialfa, bassist Garry Tallent, guitarist Steven Van Zandt and drummer Max Weinberg

The annoucement came like a bomb in the world of pop music: The Jackson Five could reunite for a tour in 2008, with Michael Jackson set to take part, brother Jermaine has said to the BBC.

He told BBC 6 Music that concert dates have been discussed and could take place “sometime in 2008″.

“Michael will be involved,” the singer and guitarist confirmed. “We feel we have to do it one more time. We owe that to the fans and to the public. ” He added that the group were “in the studio at the moment,” hinting at new material.

The group last toured as The Jacksons - with six members - in support of the Victory album in 1984.

Boyzone extends their UK tour to Northern Ireland with a gig just announced at the Odissey Arena in Belfast on Sunday 25 may 2008.
