OXEGEN 2008 FESTIVAL - EARLY BIRD WEEKEND TICKETS

Following the exciting news that early bird weekend camping tickets for OXEGEN 2008 go on sale on this Friday 30 November at 8am, OXEGEN.ie have exclusively revealed that Kings of Leon are confirmed to play OXEGEN 2008, after you voted them the band you most want to see in our festival poll. Oxegen 2008 is a three day event running from Friday 11 July to Sunday 13 July at PUNCHESTOWN RACECOURSE, Ireland.

A presale is currently on for Oxegen registered fans only. But if you are not so lucky, then don’t miss the EARLY BIRD weekend camping tickets sale will take this Fraiday at 8am . Tickets will be very limited, so make sure you are ready (before or at least with the touts) when they go on sale. Get your tickets:

ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL - THE POLICE HEADLINE

The Police will headline the Festival with a closing night performance in the beautiful surroundings of Seaclose Park, Newport.

Festival Promoter John Giddings confirmed The Police will headline Sunday night and bring the 2008 Festival to a close, “It is a coup to get The Police for the Festival, we are very happy to have the biggest tour of the last two years stopping by the Isle of Wight.” The Police will return to Europe in 2008, and the Isle of Wight performance will be the only UK festival show for the trio.
