Spice Girls tickets less than face value

The situation is described on Face Value Ticket’s buyer’s guide, taking last summer Prince’s 21 dates in London as an example: tickets sold for less than face value in the secondary market. It is said that 21 dates in London, even for an big name like Prince, it is a lot, a lot of tickets.

Big names attract all sorts of touts, from the big scalpers to the average Joe who is just trying to make a few pounds, so a huge portion of tickets were sold in the first place to people who had only a target: make some profit. Therefor it was no surprise to see thousands of tickets for sale in auction sites… simply too many, “amateur-touts” were struggling to flog their tickets for less money than face value! And we can never say it enough, if you are to buy your tickets on Ebay or else anyway for such big tours, please at least do not rush the first day (people did pay 3 or 4 times the face value for Prince tickets the first 2 or 3 days following the general ticket sale), wait for the price to drop… and it always does…

Well according to Fan-to-fan ticket exchange Seatwave (well fan-to-fan is the official title - Although a few fans are occasionally and genuinely selling tickets, most of tickets are sold at inflated prices by touts !!), this is happening again with the Spice Girls. The company says that tickets to see the girl-group at the O2 Arena in London have been selling for as much as 33% less than their retail price.

A quick look on Ebay and you will be able to notice that the ironic situation is the same there. Hopefully this will discourage a few touts in the future…

There are still some tickets left for the Spice Girls - See Spice Girls tickets .
