THE POLICE - LAST EVER UK PERFORMANCE
The Police, following their hugely successful world tour, are to headline the Hard Rock Calling festival in Hyde Park on Sunday 29th June.
This will be the last chance for UK fans to see the reunion tour. The tour will end in North America in August. The Police will be playing at Hard Rock Calling with special guests KT Tunstall and Starsailor, with more acts to be announced.

James Blunt has just announced his next UK tour for 2008. The dates are as followed:

14-Oct-08 - London The O2

DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL
Jimmy Eat World, Chris Cornell, Korn frontman Jonathon Davis and 36 Crazy Fists have been added to the line-up of Download 2008. As previously reported, other acts include Kiss, lostprophets and The Offspring, plus a special appearance from Judas Priest! The festival takes place between 13-15 June.
Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster and Lastminute.com Music Tickets.

OXEGEN - R.E.M.
Not content with selling out the Royal Albert Hall in a matter of minutes, R.E.M. will headline the Oxegen Festival. They will also appear at T In The Park, and have announced some UK stadium shows as well, which go on sale this Friday (see R.E.M. presale).
Tickets are currently on sale at Ticketmaster.

On The eve of releasing their eagerly anticipated new studio LP ‘Accelerate’, R.E.M have announced four outdoor summer stadium shows for August. Here are the dates and venues:
24 August - MANCHESTER Lancashire Country Cricket Club
25 August - CARDIFF Millennium Stadium
27 August - SOUTHAMPTON Rosebowl
30 August - TWICKENHAM Stadium

ROGER WATERS
Roger Waters co-founder and principal songwriter of the archetypal progressive rock band Pink Floyd, will perform “The Dark Side Of The Moon,” in its entirety for the last time in the Uk at these shows, as he did to standing ovations throughout the world.
