This blog has been created for people who have just had enough of not being able to buy their concert tickets at face value because of a generalised touting in the UK. And it is getting worse… more and more people seem to get into that game, from the average Jo who tries to earn a few quid to the so-called “reputed agencies”, big-scale touts with the only difference that they (are able to) rip people off under a limited company name. Don’t be fooled, they have all one thing in common: TOUTING !

WHY Face Value Ticket?
I am going to tell you a very common story…
You want to go to a concert. You will try to get some tickets when they go on sale for the public, generally on Friday (but not always…). Now you’ve been waiting all week for that moment and it comes, you are more than ready, if you are a big fan, you are very excited… The tickets go on sale: you are trying madly for 5 minutes (if you cannot make it when tickets go on sale, there you know that you will have absolutely NO chance AT ALL later on…) to finally discover that tickets are sold out. Unfortunately you did not manage to buy any (or the few last tickets left are the ones right at the back of the venue…). Disappointed and frustrated you go on a very popular auction site and, what a surprise, yes, 100’s of these tickets are for sale there, all the best ones, absolutely all front seats (and even the ones behind, and even the ones far behind…), for a lot, a lot, a lot of money… Did you ever experience this frustration? Yes you did, like I did, many times, too many times !
